Keep Your Water Fresh In Cold Conditions

Winter conditions bring harsh and potentially dangerous challenges to your farm. Your livestock’s water freezing over doesn’t need to be added to the list. From electric and heated models to insulated designs and continuous-flow systems, today’s livestock waterers are built to keep fresh water accessible no matter how low the temperature drops.
Whether you’re caring for a few heads of cattle or managing a large herd, these reliable, energy-efficient systems help ensure your animals stay hydrated and healthy through the coldest months of the year.
Super PETE 94C for Feedlot & Dairy
The Super PETE 94C waterer is built to handle the demands of feedlot and dairy operations. Measuring 25 inches high, 94 inches long and 30 inches wide, the unit weighs 2,400 pounds and holds 38 gallons of water, enough for up to 350-400 cattle.
Durability and efficiency are central to its design. Rust-free insulated plastic doors and valve covers, a rounded hood that sheds snow and ice and 2-inch polystyrene insulation help maintain reliable water access in varying conditions. Large float chambers, 3-inch self-cleaning rubber drains and brass or plastic valves allow water to recover quickly, while smooth, rounded edges reduce injury risk and make cleaning easier. Reinforced concrete with 3/8-inch welded rebar cages provides structural strength for long-term use.
The waterer can operate with a 1,000-watt submersible heater or a thermostatically controlled free-flow valve for year-round ice-free water. It requires no bolting and connects easily to pipeline and electric systems, offering practical installation for a range of livestock setups.

JUG 404 With Heat
The JUG livestock waterer delivers clean, cool water year-round, with an open-bowl layout suitable for animals of all sizes, from lambs and calves to cattle, horses and bison.
Unlike waterers with flaps or floating lids, the JUG uses a draw tube that works like a large straw. Animals drink naturally by placing their muzzle over the opening, drawing water up from the insulated reservoir. A built-in feed trap keeps debris from entering the tank, helping maintain clean, fresh water.
The four-bowl Model 404 offers ample access for high-traffic areas and includes an external screw for easy water level adjustment and a drain plug for quick cleaning. Super-insulated construction helps conserve heat, with optional 65-watt heaters available for colder climates. The result is a reliable, energy-efficient waterer that stays open through the coldest conditions.
