Josh Enlow: Enlow Tractor Auction is a monthly consignment auction. We just celebrated our 50th year of Enlow family auctions. Our auctions are held the first Wednesday of each month in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We also have on-site auctions to help our customers.
Personally I like an in person auction. However we offer real-time internet bidding at our auctions to accommodate individual buyers and dealers that can not travel to our facilities.
People continue to want nice, clean equipment with low hours and a warranty when possible. I also think that the buyers continue to be knowledgeable about the product they want to buy. This is mostly due to the internet and site with auction and equipment information like Farmers Hot Line.
New Holland 8070 Swather for $88,000.
I think in May we had 92 compact tractors. We almost always have 50+ compact tractors, but 92 that is a lot of little tractors.
Take the time to inspect what you want to bid on before you buy it.
The newest, latest and greatest is what everyone is always asking for.
Time of year always plays a role in what takes place at Enlow tractor auction. Every year is differs depending on rain, economy, elections, etc. We do know that April, May, and June are the best three months, and historically January will be the toughest.
I can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, but we are in talks with a customer about having a large machinery auction in the fall.
I would just say that the auction business has been really great to the Enlow family for a long time and I hope that the live auction business will still be here for the next generation of Enlow’s.
Also it takes people to believe and support an auction house for it to stay as long as we have been around and I would like to say thank you to all the people that have bought and sold at Enlow’s over the last 50 years!
