The evolution of Mid-Western Millwright Inc. (MWM), located in Fort Morgan, Colo., began in 1997 with the joining of Coy Palmer and Tim Worthley. Coy began working in construction and metal fabrication at the young age of 14. And at 23-years-old Coy started Palmer’s Portable Welding. While running his business, Coy met Tim through sub-contract work. Tim was raised in Fort Morgan, and has been in the construction and welding business for 35 years.

MWM has extensive work experience the dairy industry, grain elevators, metal buildings, and aluminum and stainless steel fabrication, as well as the food processing, manufacturing, and assembly line plants. MWM also offers a wide variety of crane and general contracting work. With over 40-years of knowledge and experience Coy, Tim, and their staff can design, engineer, and manufacture to fit your needs.

Services are tailored to specifically meet the needs and surpass the expectation of our customers. MWM independently execute each project from start to finish, which allows them to maintain a high, self-imposed, quality of workmanship.

Inside MWM

MWM offer both in-house and in-field services to fit their client’s unique needs. With over 20,000 sq. ft. of workspace, MWM has the capability to fabricate a large variety of products. With your print, sketch, or sample the MWM staff can produce parts to meet each client’s unique needs and requirements.

MWM employs two machinists that have over 30 years of combined experience.

Grain Bins & Buildings

MWM is a Certified Dealer of GSI, Scafco, MFS York (a division of Global Industries), Sioux Steel, Sweet Mfg., Neco, and Johnson Systems grain bins and accessories. They are the exclusive GSI dealer for Colorado, Wyoming, Western Nebraska, and Western Kansas.

The staff at MWM has the experience and expertise to design and build high quality commercial or farm grain bins for their clients, and are a trusted and recognized leader in the grain bin industry

MWM is also a Certified Dealer of Sentinel Building Systems steel buildings and Quonsets.

MWM has a large selection of grain storage and handling equipment for brewery grain storage. Products include:

Steel Sales

MWM is the largest supplier of square tubing, angle, flat, pipe, plate, solid square and round, channel, beam, and expanded metal in Northeast Colorado. The also supply Stainless and Aluminum sheets and shapes, and a wide variety of grain elevator fittings.
