AGCO to Debut Equipment and Precision Ag Technology at Farm Progress Show

AGCO will introduce new equipment and precision agriculture technology from its Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and PTx brands at the 2026 Farm Progress Show, scheduled for September 1 to 3 in Boone, Iowa.

The company said its lineup will include new Fendt and Massey Ferguson products, along with mixed-fleet retrofit and autonomy solutions from PTx.

For farmers attending the show, the announcements span tractors, planters, hay equipment, seed placement, spraying, fleet management, and autonomous operations.

Fendt to Hold First U.S. International Press Conference

Fendt will unveil three new products across its tractor and planter platforms at the show, along with updates to existing equipment.

The Fendt display will include the 500 Vario Gen4 and 800 Vario Gen5 tractors, as well as a preview of transport speed options across the series. The IDEAL combine will also be on display ahead of the 2026 Fendt Harvest Tour, which is scheduled to return to the Midwest in October.

Fendt will highlight its new products during AGCO's pre-show media event on September 1. The brand will also hold its first international press conference in the U.S. on September 2 from 9 to 10 a.m. Central Time at the AGCO booth. Journalists and content creators from Europe, North America, and South America are expected to attend.

Massey Ferguson Adds Planters and Hay Equipment

Massey Ferguson will showcase several new products and equipment updates at the Farm Progress Show.

The new N-Series Split/Narrow Row Planters combine factory-installed Precision Planting technology with a modular design. The company will also display a next-generation double baler with an inline dual-bale system for bale collection.

The MF 5S Series tractor will also be featured with a Dyna-VT transmission.

PTx Highlights Precision Agriculture and Autonomy

PTx will showcase precision agriculture technologies covering planting, spraying, air seeding, farm management, and autonomous equipment.

Precision Planting's display will include the ArrowTube seed orientation system, SymphonyVision Duo camera-based spraying technology, DrySet Air tower-by-tower metering and monitoring for air seeders, and SmokeRow sprayer systems for edge-of-field weed control.

PTx Trimble will feature PTx FarmENGAGE fleet and farm management technology, along with OutRun autonomous harvest and tillage options.

AGCO Chairman, President and CEO Eric Hansotia said the company's presence at the show will include new equipment and technology across its brands.

"Farm Progress Show is where we put our newest technology directly in farmers' hands, and this year we are doing it in front of the world," said Hansotia. "Fendt is holding its first international press conference on U.S. soil, which reaffirms how important North America is to our growth plans. And Fendt is only part of it, with Massey Ferguson bringing new planters, hay equipment and tractor technology, and PTx exhibiting new precision ag solutions from seed placement to autonomous harvest."

AGCO and its brands will host a media event from 7 to 8 a.m. Central Time on September 1 ahead of the Farm Progress Show's opening.

Fendt and Massey Ferguson will be located in Booth 1002, while PTx, Precision Planting, and PTx Trimble will be in Booth 634.
