The 61st annual Bobcat North Dakota Open wrapped up August 24 at Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo, North Dakota, bringing together top regional golfers while continuing its mission of community impact.

As part of the Dakotas Tour, which spans Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota, the three-day tournament featured 50 professional golfers and 100 amateurs. Beyond the competition, the event also raised funds for The Village Family Service Center, a Fargo-based nonprofit offering counseling, addiction recovery, mentoring and family services.

“The Bobcat North Dakota Open is a much-anticipated event for golf fans and the greater Fargo community,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “We’re proud to celebrate 41 years as the tournament’s title sponsor and even prouder of the positive impact it has made through Bobcat Company’s partnership with The Village.”

Angus Flanagan of Woking, England, took home this year’s professional title, marking his fourth win of 2025 and his first at the Bobcat North Dakota Open. Former North Dakota State golfer Nate Deziel of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, finished three shots back, earning the best result of his professional career.

In the Amateur division, Chun-Ta Wu of New South Wales, Australia, secured victory with an 11-under-par 199. Wu’s final-round 64 not only pushed him past University of Minnesota teammate Jack Wetzel, but also tied him for third in the overall competition.

The event also featured community-centered activities, including the Pro Junior Shoot Out, Pairings on the Patio and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf Clinic, which brought youth and mentors together on the course.

Since 1984, Bobcat Company has served as lead sponsor of the North Dakota Open, helping raise more than $2.4 million for The Village Family Service Center.

“We are deeply grateful for the continued generosity and support from Bobcat Company and all tournament sponsors,” said Kelly Olson, president and CEO of The Village Family Service Center. “The commitment of everyone involved helps us strengthen individuals and families in the communities we serve, enabling us to address the increasing needs surrounding behavioral health.”

This year’s event concluded with an awards ceremony and a check presentation from Bobcat Company to representatives of The Village.

Other key sponsors included Bell Bank, Bremer Bank, D-S Beverages, J & M Printing, Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp and Redda Group.
