Busch Light Launches Farming Cans Featuring U.S. Farmed Seal
Busch Light releases limited-edition Farming Cans featuring U.S. Farmed seal and will donate up to $200,000 to Farm Rescue.
Busch Light has launched a new limited-edition Farming Can design available nationwide this July, continuing its effort to support and celebrate American farmers and ranchers. The campaign also marks the first time a specialty beer can will feature the U.S. Farmed seal, which certifies that at least 95% of a product’s agricultural ingredients were grown in the United States.
The new Farming Cans are decorated with imagery of red barns, tractors and cornfields, highlighting the brand’s connection to rural America. The campaign encourages consumers to “Choose Beer Grown Here,” reflecting a growing interest in domestically sourced products. According to Gartner’s 2025 Consumer Community Survey, nearly half of consumers plan to buy more American-made goods this year.
“Farmers are truly the backbone of this country and Busch Light is proud to stand by the people who keep America running,” said Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Light at Anheuser-Busch. “There’s no Busch Light without quality ingredients farmed right here in the U.S. These Farming Cans are more than just a packaging design — they represent our commitment to supporting agricultural communities and helping organizations like Farm Rescue make a real difference.”
From July 1 through July 31, 2025, Busch Light will donate $0.10 per case of Farming Cans sold — up to $200,000 — to Farm Rescue, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to farm and ranch families in crisis due to illness, injury or natural disaster. Busch Light has partnered with Farm Rescue since 2019 and has helped raise nearly $1.5 million to support more than 1,200 families.
“The support from Anheuser-Busch and Busch Light has helped us deliver real, tangible relief to over 1,200 families stricken by unexpected crises,” said Bill Gross, president and founder of Farm Rescue. “Thanks to partners like Busch Light, we’re able to provide planting, harvesting and livestock feeding assistance at moments when farmers need it most.”
Busch Light is the first beer brand — and the first brand of any kind — to feature the U.S. Farmed certification on its packaging. The initiative supports Anheuser-Busch’s broader commitment to sourcing nearly all of its ingredients from American farms. The company works with more than 700 grower partners across the country and spends over $700 million annually on domestic sourcing.
“We source nearly all of the high-quality ingredients in our industry-leading beers from these American farmers, many of whom we’ve partnered with for generations, and 99% of the beer we sell in the U.S. is made in the U.S.,” said Cesar Vargas, chief external affairs officer at Anheuser-Busch. “These Busch Light Farming Cans featuring the U.S. Farmed seal are just one more way we can support American farmers, and we look forward to encouraging consumers to ‘Choose Beer Grown Here’ this summer and beyond.”
The limited-edition cans are available now at retailers nationwide while supplies last. Farmers or ranchers impacted by crisis are encouraged to apply for aid through Farm Rescue at FarmRescue.org.
