JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation company and global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, has introduced its line of agriculture telehandlers designed specifically for farm applications.

Tractors and loaders remain essential on farms, but telehandlers are increasingly being used as multipurpose machines that combine lifting power, reach and versatility.

“Telehandlers have become an essential tool in modern agriculture,” said Rob Barger, product manager – telehandlers, JLG Agriculture. “By leveraging our engineering expertise, we’ve designed JLG Ag telehandlers to be purpose-built for farm work — durable, multipurpose machines that help farmers enhance productivity.”

The JLG agriculture telehandlers feature telescopic booms that provide higher lift capacities and extended forward reach, making it easier to stack hay bales, load feed mixers or move materials over fences and trailers. Reinforced chassis, optimized weight distribution and hydraulic load-sensing systems are built to support efficient and stable handling of heavy materials such as feed, hay and seed.

The machines are compatible with a range of attachments — including forks, buckets, grapples and augers — that can be swapped quickly using hydraulic couplers. This flexibility allows a single machine to take on multiple tasks without the operator leaving the cab.

Additional features include precision control systems for smoother operation, rugged components designed for harsh farm environments and operator-focused details such as climate-controlled cabs, ergonomic controls, panoramic visibility and advanced stability systems.

With their combination of lifting reach, load capacity and all-terrain capability, JLG’s agriculture telehandlers offer an alternative to traditional loaders and tractors by reducing the need for multiple machines on the farm. Their design emphasizes productivity and durability for handling hay, feed, seed and other farm materials.
