Ag on the Mall, a showcase of agricultural innovation, returns to Washington, D.C., where John Deere will spotlight advancements in farming technology and equipment from May 6-8.
The theme for this year’s event is "The Future of Food and Farming," and the world’s largest farming equipment manufacturer will provide a glimpse of how modern agriculture is enhancing productivity and efficiency to meet the world's food, fuel and clothing demands.
This marks John Deere's second year joining forces with the Association of Equipment Manufactuers (AEM) to host the event in the nation’s capital. The initiative aims to bolster support for American agriculture and ensure policymakers grasp the needs of rural America.
Several innovations and new business partnerships will be announced at the event, the coolest being John Deere’s deal with SpaceX to provide connectivity for farmers via StarLink satellite technology, which pairs perfectly with the 8R Autonomous Tractor, S7 900 Combine, which uses 10% less fuel while improving productivity by 20%, and the See & Spray Ultimate Sprayer, which allows surgical spraying for weeds among crops like corn, soybean and cotton.
The Ag on the Mall event serves as a platform for showcasing the latest advancements in agricultural technology and equipment, underscoring the vital role of innovation in meeting the world's growing food demands.
