Massey Ferguson Introduces MF 5M Series Utility Tractors to North America
The MF 5M Series utility tractors are now available in North America, offering power, comfort and technology for everyday farming tasks.
AGCO has announced the launch of the Massey Ferguson MF 5M Series utility tractors in North America. The new lineup, designed for high-hour use and multitasking, aims to give farmers, ranchers and municipal crews more flexibility and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
The tractors are built to handle common challenges faced by agricultural operators, including tight work windows, rising input costs and the need for equipment that can adapt to different tasks.
“Massey Ferguson has a long-standing commitment to incorporating voice-of-customer input into every new product,” said Kevin Lewallen, tactical marketing manager for Massey Ferguson. “The 5M Series continues that tradition with straightforward, purpose-built features and flexible options that reflect how today’s farmers and ranchers actually work — long hours, demanding jobs and little room for downtime.”
The MF 5M Series includes four models ranging from 105 to 145 horsepower. Operators can choose between cab or open platform designs, 12x12 or Dyna-4 transmissions, and two chassis sizes. Larger frame models (135 and 145 HP) provide added lifting capacity up to 11,500 pounds, making them well-suited for handling large round bales or heavy attachments used in municipal mowing.
Massey Ferguson has integrated features aimed at reducing operator fatigue during long days. Options include a brake-to-neutral system for easier stop-and-go work, a mechanical joystick with third-function control and a 52-gallon fuel tank for extended operation.
The cab features upgraded HVAC systems, with available comfort additions such as an air-suspended swivel seat, LED work lights and an optional Visio Roof for better visibility when working with loaders. The tractor’s ergonomic cab layout has also earned international recognition, including a 2025 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
“When operators are in and out of hayfields all day, comfort and visibility matter,” Lewallen said. “This design supports long workdays, whether stacking at dusk or working through peak summer heat.”
While precision technology is often limited in smaller tractors, the MF 5M Series incorporates user-friendly, cost-conscious tools. ISOBUS Light and Auto-Guide-ready options provide entry points into precision farming, while TaskDoc Basic comes standard to help track field operations and manage inputs more efficiently.
“These aren’t bells and whistles for the sake of it — these are tools that help save time and reduce input waste,” Lewallen said.
the tractors include features designed for easier service and longer operating shifts to reduce downtime. Streamlined emissions systems and extended fuel capacity help reduce interruptions during peak work periods.
“Time off the job means lost productivity,” Lewallen said. “From a streamlined emissions system to a fuel tank that supports longer shifts, this machine addresses the core needs of working operations.”
The Massey Ferguson MF 5M Series is now available in North America through AGCO dealers.
