New Holland Expands PowerStar Tractor Line with Electro Command Models
New Holland adds two Electro Command models to its PowerStar tractor lineup, boosting lift capacity, comfort and technology for U.S. farmers.
New Holland North America has expanded its PowerStar tractor series with the launch of the PowerStar Electro Command, debuting at the 2025 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois.
The two new models, rated at 110 and 120 horsepower with PTO horsepower of 85 and 99, are designed for livestock, dairy and crop operations. They feature the first 16x16 semi-powershift transmission offered in the PowerStar lineup, allowing clutchless shifts between key ranges and automatic gear shifting.
“This latest addition to our PowerStar family is redefining comfort, control and productivity in the utility tractor segment,” said Alex Berwager, livestock and dairy business manager for New Holland North America.
The Electro Command provides a rear lift capacity of more than 10,000 pounds, nearly double the capability of other PowerStar and utility tractors on the market. With its higher capacity, operators can handle heavier bales, implements and feed loads. A 21-gallon-per-minute load-sensing hydraulic pump and multiple remote valve options support a wide range of applications, including baling and fertilizer spreading.
Additional features include a cab suspension system, an optional suspended front axle and a high-visibility roof panel to improve operator comfort and control. A new mid-mount electronic joystick enables shifting, declutching and loader operation from a single control point — a first for the series.
“This is the PowerStar that bridges the gap between utility and agricultural performance,” said Lena Patton, product marketing manager for New Holland North America. “It’s the most comfortable and highest-performing tractor ever put into this series.”
New Holland is also integrating FieldOps telematics into the new models. The system provides location tracking, performance monitoring and fuel and DEF level visibility. An advanced package is available for deeper machine analytics and remote diagnostics.
The PowerStar Electro Command models will be available through New Holland dealers across the United States following their debut at Farm Progress.
