imageThe new Spray Fill Xpress from Summers is a patent-pending fill system designed to increase sprayer productivity up to 82 percent. Featuring a unique chemical batching process and three inch plumbing system, the Spray Fill Xpress can reduce fill times from approximately 30 minutes to less than seven, allowing sprayer operators to cover more acres per day.

Because of its highly modular design, the Spray Fill Xpress can be customized with three, four, five or six stainless-steel chemical tanks in 40- or 80-gallon capacities for a total maximum capacity of 240 gallons. Chemicals in these tanks can be individually portioned and remain there until drawn into the sprayer. This avoids premixing, which can cause undesirable reactions. Available flow meters and scales provide precise measurements. The tanks are deep to avoid splash-back and have aggressively angled bottoms to aid in chemical induction and ensure complete drainage.

For easy cleanout of chemical jugs, each tank includes a jug rinse system. The jug rinse also doubles as a whole tank rinse when the lid is closed to aid in quick, system-wide cleanup. Additionally, an attached rinse wand provides a convenient solution for not only cleaning the tanks, but also for making a slurry during dry chemical induction.

“Spraying plays an extremely important role in modern farming practices,” said Brian Perkuhn, vice president of sales at Summers. “The Spray Fill Xpress allows farmers to cover more acres in a day and take better advantage of critical spray windows.”
