Nutrien Ag Solutions has opened its newly upgraded retail facility in Tipton, Indiana, as part of a broader capital improvement initiative across North America. The company marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting event attended by employees, local farmers, suppliers and community leaders.

The project is designed to modernize Nutrien’s retail operations and strengthen support for growers in regions experiencing rapid agricultural growth. Attendees toured the site and viewed the new infrastructure, which expands capabilities for crop input storage, blending and distribution in central Indiana.

“This facility is a showcase of innovation, built with one goal in mind: supporting farmer success,” said Rob Clayton, senior vice president of North American Retail. “Our capital improvement initiative reflects Nutrien’s unwavering commitment to delivering industry-leading products, proprietary solutions and services that maximize yield, profitability and sustainability. For our team, it’s not just new infrastructure — it’s a commitment to our farmers that Nutrien will be here, season after season.”

Upgrades to the Tipton facility include a 5,000-ton dry fertilizer storage system with rail access, expanded liquid storage and blending capabilities, an enhanced anhydrous ammonia system and a modernized office to improve customer service and operational efficiency.

The new location is among Nutrien’s most advanced retail facilities and reflects the company’s effort to align infrastructure investments with the evolving needs of U.S. agriculture.
