Opti-Harvest announced the commercial launch of a new online return-on-investment (ROI) tool for specialty crop growers during the 27th Annual Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival in California on June 12, 2026.

The company said the tool is designed to help growers evaluate potential benefits of its agricultural technologies by estimating savings and productivity gains based on factors such as crop value, time to first harvest and water and labor costs.

According to Opti-Harvest Founder and CEO Jonathan Destler, trial partners and pilot customers have reported improvements in yield, reduced water use and lower labor requirements, as well as faster crop establishment.

“From California to Georgia, our trial partners and pilot customers have seen significant increases in yield, water savings and labor cost reduction while bringing newly planted crops into production at least one year sooner. This is a game changer for growers who very much need cutting edge solutions to help them adapt to a tough industry environment and produce bigger outputs with lower inputs.” said Opti-Harvest Founder & CEO, Jonathan Destler.

The ROI tool is available online and is intended for growers of specialty crops across the United States.

Opti-Harvest develops agricultural technology designed to modify light and microclimate conditions to support crop growth and efficiency. Its product line includes Opti-Filter, which is made from recyclable HDPE and used to influence light conditions and plant environment in fruit and nut crops.

The company says its technology has been developed over seven years in collaboration with large-scale growers and has been evaluated in third-party testing, including university research such as studies associated with UC Davis. These evaluations have reported improvements in crop development speed, yield, fruit quality and water use efficiency.

Opti-Gro is designed to support early crop development by creating a controlled light and microclimate environment intended to accelerate vine and plant establishment. Opti-Panel is designed for trellised crops and focuses on canopy and light management in both mature and newly planted systems. Opti-Shield is designed for individual plant applications to support early growth and development in tree crops.

Opti-Harvest stated its technologies are aimed at improving use of sunlight to increase productivity and reduce input requirements for specialty crop production.
