Yanmar Expands CTL Lineup With Six New Models

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America has expanded its compact track loader (CTL) lineup with six new mid- and large-frame models for the United States and Canada.

The TL65RP, TL75VP, TL80VP, TL100VP, TL80VP Forestry, and TL100VP Forestry join the TL25RP, TL40RP, and TL50RP, which were introduced in July. The nine-model ASV Posi-Track lineup spans applications from compact construction and landscaping to land management and forestry.

The new CTLs are built at Yanmar’s manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and combine Yanmar diesel engines with ASV Posi-Track fully suspended torsion-axle undercarriage technology. The lineup includes radial- and vertical-lift configurations, rated operating capacities from 2,000 to 4,100 pounds, and auxiliary hydraulic flow of up to 41 gallons per minute.

Six New CTL Models

The TL65RP is a radial-lift CTL with 67.1 horsepower, a 2,000-pound rated operating capacity, and available 26.7-gallon-per-minute high-flow hydraulics. Yanmar says its compact footprint, maneuverability, and ground clearance make it suited for digging, grading, and loading in landscaping, property maintenance, rental, and construction applications.

The TL75VP is Yanmar’s smallest vertical-lift CTL. It produces 71.5 horsepower and has a 2,300-pound rated operating capacity for applications including truck loading, pallet handling, material movement, construction, and landscaping.

The vertical-lift TL80VP has 71.5 horsepower, a 2,800-pound rated operating capacity, and available 34.3-gallon-per-minute high-flow auxiliary hydraulics. It uses an ASV Posi-Track dual-level suspended undercarriage with torsion axles and bogie wheels. Standard tracks are 17.7 inches wide.

The TL100VP produces 103.5 horsepower and has a 3,500-pound rated operating capacity. Available 41-gallon-per-minute high-flow auxiliary hydraulics are intended for high-production construction, landscaping, agriculture, and material-handling applications.

Two new models are designed specifically for forestry and land-management applications. The TL80VP Forestry has 71.5 horsepower, a 2,800-pound rated operating capacity, and standard 34.3-gallon-per-minute high-flow hydraulics. It includes machine guarding and a dedicated Forestry cab with a 3/4-inch polycarbonate door, 1/2-inch polycarbonate side windows, and Forestry ROPS and FOPS certification.

The TL100VP Forestry is the largest of the six new models, with 103.5 horsepower, a 4,100-pound rated operating capacity, and standard 41-gallon-per-minute high-flow hydraulics. It includes a hydraulically driven reversing fan, machine guarding, a dedicated Forestry cab, and standard 20-inch-wide tracks. Yanmar says the model is intended for mulching, land clearing, and right-of-way work.

Standard Technology and Manufacturing

All six models include a multifunction 7-inch color display, rearview camera, electronic joystick controls with selectable ISO or H-pattern settings, adjustable operator profiles, and speed settings. SmartAssist Remote telematics is also standard, with complimentary service for the first five years.

Yanmar says the telematics system provides access to machine location, utilization, maintenance, and other operating information.

The new CTLs use the ASV Posi-Track fully suspended torsion-axle undercarriage. The TL80VP, TL100VP, and both Forestry models use a dual-level suspension combining independent torsion axles with suspended bogie wheels.

Yanmar said its expanded CTL lineup is supported by continued investment at its Grand Rapids facility. Since acquiring ASV in 2019, the company has invested more than $32 million in automation, innovation, and manufacturing technology at the facility. Yanmar plans to invest an additional $30 million over five years to expand CTL engineering capabilities and production capacity.

The TL65RP, TL75VP, TL80VP, TL100VP, TL80VP Forestry, and TL100VP Forestry are available through authorized Yanmar Compact Equipment dealers in the United States and Canada.
