Case IH Adds Precision Technology to Windrowers, Combines
Case IH adds yield mapping to its WD6 windrower and new precision guidance and automation features to Model Year 2027 Axial-Flow 160 combines.
Case IH is expanding its precision agriculture technology offerings with new features for hay and forage operations and updates to its Axial-Flow 160 series combines.
The company introduced the WD6 series windrower with Relative Yield Mapping technology and announced new precision technology for Model Year 2027 Axial-Flow 160 series combines. Case IH said the technologies are designed to provide additional field data, automation, and guidance capabilities without annual subscription costs.
WD6 Windrower Adds Yield Mapping
The new Case IH WD6 series windrower features Relative Yield Mapping technology, which allows producers to view relative variations in in-field yield while harvesting hay and forage.
Yield data is available through Case IH FieldOps, providing information that can be used for year-over-year comparisons and optimization. Through the company's Connectivity Included offering, producers can connect to FieldOps and access yield-specific data without annual subscription costs.
The WD6 series also has an in-field operating speed of up to 20 miles per hour and a transport speed of up to 30 miles per hour, along with a wide disc head and increased horsepower.
A new active hydraulic system automatically maintains pressure to provide more consistent ground pressure and cut quality.

Axial-Flow 160 Series Gains Precision Features
Case IH is also adding precision technology to its Axial-Flow 160 series combines for Model Year 2027.
The combines will come with a Vector Pro receiver and RowGuide Pro for row guidance. Additional technology includes AccuTurn for end-of-row turns, AccuGuide Pro for hands-free automated steering, and AccuSync for real-time sharing of guidance lines and coverage between machines.
The Axial-Flow 160 series will also feature Pro 1200 dual displays. The displays support Remote Display View and an updated interface for Harvest Command automation technology, including grain camera viewing capabilities.
Customers can select a precision technology package based on their operational and machine requirements.
Case IH said the new and upgraded precision technology is intended to provide options for operations of different sizes and levels of technology experience. The company also said its precision technology solutions do not have annual subscription costs.
The WD6 series windrower and updated Axial-Flow 160 series combines will be on display at the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
