Country music artist and Bobcat ambassador Justin Moore returned to his hometown of Poyen, Arkansas, to surprise his alma mater, Poyen High School, with a brand-new Bobcat zero-turn mower during the school’s homecoming celebration.

The donation is part of Bobcat Company’s “Work Worth Doing” initiative, a nationwide campaign that highlights people and organizations making a positive impact in their communities.

The new mower will assist school staff in maintaining athletic fields and campus grounds, supporting the upkeep of facilities that serve as a focal point for the small-town community.

“Helping the home team — that’s work worth doing,” said Moore. “In my hometown of Poyen, everyone wears more than one hat. We coach. We cheer. We mow. It takes a whole town to keep our teams playing on fields we can be proud of. I’m thrilled to partner with Bobcat to give back in a way that truly matters.”

Bobcat launched its “Work Worth Doing” campaign in May with a donation to U.S. veteran Jason Shields, who received a Bobcat T595 compact track loader to support operations at Hoof Haven Sanctuary, a non-profit dedicated to rescuing and caring for injured or endangered horses.

The initiative continued in June when the Los Angeles Fire Department received a Bobcat UV34XL utility vehicle to support its full-time wildland hand crew, which assists with wildfire mitigation and control.

Moore’s recent donation to Poyen High School continues the campaign’s mission of celebrating individuals and organizations that exemplify hard work, community pride and service to others.

Residents and supporters can participate in the “Work Worth Doing” campaign by sharing their own community stories on social media using the hashtag #WorkWorthDoing and tagging @BobcatCompany.
