MAXAM Adds MS963R RowXtra Implement Tire

MAXAM Tire has introduced the MS963R RowXtra, a very high flexion (VF) radial implement tire designed for agricultural equipment including balers, hay mergers, seeders, and other implements.

The tire features a steel belt structure, flexible sidewalls, and a stubble-resistant compound. MAXAM said the design is intended to improve casing durability and cut resistance while handling heavier axle loads.

The MS963R is available with VF technology, which allows the tire to carry up to 40% more load at standard inflation pressures or operate at up to 40% lower air pressure while carrying the same load.

MAXAM said the lower-pressure capability is intended to help reduce soil compaction and preserve soil structure. The tire also has a ribbed tread pattern designed to maintain ground contact while reducing rolling resistance.

The MS963R is designed for implement applications involving planting, plowing, and ripping, among other field operations.

The MS963R RowXtra is currently available in multiple sizes with VF technology, with additional sizes planned as the product line expands.
