New Holland Adds Three WORKMASTER Tractor Models
New Holland expands its WORKMASTER lineup with three compact utility tractors offering up to 57 hp and new attachment options.
New Holland has added three models to its WORKMASTER compact utility tractor lineup for 2027. The WORKMASTER 45C, 50C, and 55C range from 47 to 57 engine horsepower and feature updated operator stations, loader and backhoe options, hydraulic systems, and connectivity-ready technology.
The new models are designed for a range of applications, including material handling, livestock feeding, property maintenance, mowing, excavation, and light construction.
Power and Transmission Options
The WORKMASTER 45C produces 47 engine horsepower, the 50C produces 52 engine horsepower, and the 55C produces 57 engine horsepower. Their turbocharged three-cylinder, 1.9-liter engines provide up to 49 power take-off (PTO) horsepower.
Rear hitch lift capacity is 2,320 pounds at 24 inches behind the ball ends. The tractors are available with either a 12 by 12 synchronized gear transmission or a three-speed servo-assisted hydrostatic transmission. An electric cruise control kit is available for HST models.
"Compact tractor customers are asking more from a single machine than ever before," says Cory Hunt, compact tractor product specialist for New Holland North America. "The WORKMASTER 45C, 50C, and 55C were designed for customers who need more power, more lift capacity, and more versatility without stepping into a traditional utility tractor. We call this range of WORKMASTERs ‘compact utility’ because they give owners the power and confidence to take on bigger jobs, while not losing sight of the size or simplicity of the tractors."
New Loader and Backhoe Configurations
New Holland's LC Series loaders were developed with the WORKMASTER tractors and feature simultaneous lift-and-curl functionality. The 270LC provides a maximum lift height of 110 inches, or 9.1 feet, and a lift capacity of 1,697 pounds at 500 millimeters forward of the pivot pin.
The new 380BC backhoe provides four bucket sizes: 12, 16, 18, and 24 inches, with the 16-inch bucket standard. Each has an 8-foot maximum digging length, while a mechanical thumb is available as an option.
Two hydraulic pumps provide flow for attachments while maintaining power steering. A new stackable rear remote valve slice design allows customers to configure rear remotes according to their attachment needs. A live third-function option is available for operating grapples, four-in-one buckets and other advanced hydraulic attachments.
Operator Station Updates
The WORKMASTER C Series features a redesigned operator station with a wide platform, improved grab rails, suspended pedals, an enhanced instrument cluster, and a seating position designed for operator comfort. An optional rubber floor mat is also available.
For operators performing frequent loader work, the servo-assisted hydrostatic transmission reduces pedal effort compared with traditional mechanical hydrostatic systems.
Telematics-Ready From the Factory
The three WORKMASTER C Series tractors are telematics-ready. Adding the CM100 modem allows the tractors to connect to FieldOps and provides access to machine tracking, geofencing, machine alerts, preventative maintenance notifications, and operating history.
The connectivity features give owners access to machine information while retaining the compact tractor configuration and controls of the WORKMASTER C Series.
The WORKMASTER 45C, 50C, and 55C are available to order through New Holland dealers, with deliveries expected to begin in late 2026. The WORKMASTER 55C will be on display at the New Holland booth, No. 202, during the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
